Who f***ing thought it would be a good idea to split login and password fields in 2 different screens… What's the gain here?

At which point it starts getting dangerous that the battery is so swollen that it breaks the laptop frame?

I just stumble upon https://nohello.net/en/ which is basically a web page that explains the old saying on IRC: "don't ask to ask, just ask".
I wish some colleagues would follow that. Specially because I'm not nice and don't answer simple "hi" if there isn't a real question attached :).

Read in a blog post:

> "they [dunst] made some uncool breaking changes in v1.7.0 and it completely broke my configuration. That day, I refused to update dunst (I was too lazy to re-configure) and decided to write my own notification server using Rust."

↑ I find amazing how we (myself included) can sometime think than building a full new thing is "less lazy" than re-configuring one you're already used to…
That's just a false excuse to build stuff on our own :)

Anyway, rest of the post about this new notification sytem runst is interesting too:

Our infosec team at <work> likes to run fishing tests. The latest? An email claiming we have a partnership with ChatGPT and can get a free account… Based on the subject, I wonder if the test will go better or worse than usual :D.

Will we see new licences providing rights except for AI ? 🤔
Eg for blogs or content website that wouldn't want it to be used as data to be fed to AI (but still indexed by search engine…)

@szczezuja looking at your tinylog entry about links "quality" with DiscoGem, that's something I want to work on at some point, to list only "working" capsules… But life and priorities makes it complicated :]
That being said, I'm happily accepting patch :)
